Kumera utilises Regatta in the remote monitoring of oil quality and vibrations
Gearbox-manufacturing Kumera uses a fourth generation condition monitoring ensemble Guard Gear, which is strongly based on the utilisation of Regatta, e.g. in the remote monitoring of oil quality and vibrations.
The launch of Guard Gear 4.0 at the Northern Industry event in Oulu between 25th – 26th May 2016 was a success, and a drawcard to Kumera’s stand. For example, the sensoring of the system and the customisation of the user interface to meet customer needs were praised and created new ideas on subjects to monitor.
Satisfied Scanclimber – introduction of Regatta was quick
Scanclimber which manufactures mobile construction site lifts and lifting devices, introduced remote monitoring that is based on Remion’s Regatta at the beginning of the year.
“The implementation and adoption of Regatta services was easy. Where necessary, changes to the services have also been implemented quickly, and cooperation with Remion has been seamless”, praises Scanclimber’s After Sales Director Tomi Järvi.
Data offered by Regatta also available for mobile and other systems
Regatta’s features for e.g. data presentation and visualisation continue to develop. For example, the utilisation of UI components and even entire meters and monitoring data has also been made as easy as possible (e.g. widget sharing feature).
In addition, as well as the web userface which has previously been well-suited for mobile use, various Regatta mobile application for both Android and iOS devices are also available. Regatta applications that have been optimised for tablet and smartphone use will make the monitoring of various subjects and data quicker and easier than before..
What is Regatta?
Regatta offers a solution that is agile to introduce for remote monitoring of machines and equipment, as well as for the utilisation of industrial internet from the collection of data to the realtime realisation of refined data. The various parts of the equipment- and platform-independent Regatta can also be utilised e.g. as supplementary solutions for existing systems, and only necessary services can easily be implemented, such as data collection to a cloud service or an easily customisable UI for the visualisation of existing data.
The implementation and adoption of Regatta services was easy. Where necessary, changes to the services have also been implemented quickly, and cooperation with Remion has been seamless.
